Cell C Tech Assist

It is entirely a ****. Their website is not connected to the broader Cell C platform. They however call Cell C customers and claim to be apart of them. They sell you on insurance in case where your device is damaged or lost. When the monthly bill comes from Cell C, they bill under the name Cell C Tech Assist under monthly charges.

When it came to redeeming the insurance for repairs for a phone under the contract, all the Cell C repairs center agents I spoke to, which was multiple agents don't seem to know them. All of the Cell C billing division doesn't seem to know them. When you ask the call center help line, they are confused as they don't know them.

When you call Cell C Tech Assist themselves, it is the same three agents that respond to the call. They do not say anything reasonable or helpful. When you call to cancel, they answer, say you're being transferred on the call, leave and then eventually hang up.

We have tried to cancel through Cell C Tech Assist directly, they have not processed it. We have tried to cancel through Cell C, they have not processed it. Avoid at all costs. We will be cancelling our contract with Cell C entirely.
