CELL C SUCKS

I GOT *****ED BY CELL C. In short, I took out a Cell C contract for R1,499pm four years ago, which had unlimited calls & 6G data pm. All went well. After 2 years the contract came up for renewal/upgrade, which I did. About 6 months into the second contract, my bank account gets hacked, where my bank card was cloned and the ******** started spending my money at the Mall of Africa. My bank froze my account, and started investigating the matter. Cell C suspended my cellphone line, due to non payment. This is where the problem started. When my bank account was opened, I battled for months to get my cellphone line reconnected. Cell C eventually connected, BUT, only gave me 300 minutes for the R1.499 pm. They would not reinstate the original contract. After many many calls, holding on forever, being put through to several people, I gave up. Now the contract is finished. I called for a settlement letter, which they sent. They stated that I must use the cell number as the reference number, however, the bank kept sending the payment back stating that there are too many digits. Then I tried contacting Customer Care ... same old story, get put through to the next person, then the next, and so on and so forth. I then tried emailing Cell C, asking them to call me, without success. They then send an email stating that I should try using the account number as the reference, which I successfully did. I then made the full & final payment. Now Cell C says there is a further amount that needs to be paid over and above the full & final settlement amount that they gave me, because the final payment was late. I must pay because they gave me the wrong reference number. I then emailed their own letter to Thabisile at Cell C, who is totally indifferent to the matter. She does not understand the root of my complaint, and couldn't care less. They have taken over R36,000 from me for one 2 year contract, reduced my minutes from unlimited to 300 min, and get away with it. I AM GOING TO HAVE 30,000 BUMPER STICKERS MADE with the website CELLCSUCKS.com The level of service is an absolute disgrace, and an insult to the educated.
