Cell C still not notifying about data running out and do not allow billing blocks when on zero data

A few weeks ago I had a problem with Cell C where they had not notified me that my data bundle had run out and it had started deducting funds from my available cash balance on my prepaid account without notifying me. They have still not fixed this and it has happened again.

They also do not allow me to block billing from my cash balance when my data bundle has run out.

This is clearly part of their ******* strategy.

I want to be reimbursed as I was last time for the costs incurred.

For anyone reading this, you should demand reimbur*****t so that they don't rip you off.

Reviewer Update

The person who contacted me was nothing short of shocking and has no place in customer service.

He basically told me that everything is a courtesy and nothing is guaranteed in writing anywhere. So I shouldn't expect any notices that my data has run and out and that Cell C will be billing me differently, but they just might send it.

Just maybe.

Because their network can't guarantee delivery of their own SMSes.

So they can't notify me and can't guarantee it but they apparently also can't put a block on data once the data bundle runs out.

It seems inability to satisfy customers from this network runs deep - particularly since last time I had the same problem they reimbursed me. So they are getting worse at customer service.

Not sure why anybody would join this network.

At least they are consistent at being inconsistent.
