Cell C still debiting Deceased loved ones for a quick buck

Just a follow up regarding Cell c's response to my review. One of the liaison officers contacted me and I gave her all the relevant information and the info for the helpful gentleman who tried to assist me at the lakeside Mall store in Benoni. After submitting all the required documentation in June / July 2024 at a cell c store and uploaded by the cell c store with all payments up to date (contract expired in December 2023 so this was not the first-time submitting documents to cell c). A week later the liaison officer called to tell me that the account was with collections and still not closed (I was included in all the emails from the cell c store, so I know that it was requested to be prepaid accounts) and that I had to pay a further amount before it could be closed. This company has no idea what they are doing or might be doing it intentionally to keep the accounts open of deceased loved ones to make a quick buck out of it. It is devasting enough losing the love of your life and then you still have to put up with companies like this, Please note that all the other companies closed everything within a month of notification. Please think twice when dealing with this company.
