Cell c SIM swap is just a mess

Tried to do a SIM swap with cell c and it's just a pain one can never endure. To be told that there is no way to get my number back if I cannot get their stupid questions correct. Even the manager was just unable to help me. Funny enough with Telkom I was just given a Rica form to fill in and they took my proof of address and copy of ID and a SIM swap was done. We lose cell phones all the time and the pain of being told that you can't retrieve your number is bad as most of our apps sign in with a contact number. Cell c should update the way they do a SIM swap as they will lose more customers. I have used this number for almost 20 years and am told I can't retrieve it that's a shame. They have lost me as a customer already.
