CELL C SIM SWAP A MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

Never have I experienced such waste of time just to Sim Swap for a number i have been using.I now lost the sim card,so i got a new sim to sim swap over the phone ,i didn't remember the information required,I was then told to take an affidavit from the police and go to my nearest store with the affidavit,ID and proof of residence. I did exactly what the lady from the call centre told me ,"If you happen to remember the information required,do phone back,we will help you" .So i went to the nearest cell c shop with all the mentioned documents, only to be told that the call centre lady gave me information of old ways ,"that affidavit story no longer works,you need to remember 5 numbers you last phoned,your last recharge amount and date and we do not compromise", I was told to wait for my sim card to be deactivated and said to take a month or two ,then I can "Pay just R5" to reactivate that number.

Im definitely taking a different route,I dont believe a sim swap should be that difficult to do .
