Cell C sim deactivated - no notices

My cellphone number with Cell C has not been in use for a little while, however I still used the number on whatsapp for business purposes. It is unfortunate that my cell had a problem and I needed to delete some apps and reinstall however im now faced with the challenge that I cannot access my whatsapp any longer as due to my number being deactivated I am unable to receive my whatspp verification code. Very frustrating! I need my number re-activated.

Please note that after 120 days of no usage on a SIM card, the SIM card is deactivated, recycled and allocated to a new subscriber.

But this number is not allocated to any new subscriber as when I tried to call it says number invalid.
I need this number to be reallocated back to me. What is the process to reactivate the sim?
