Cell C Shows Absolutely No Regard for Customer Queries

My initial review titled “Cell C Debit Order Bungle” was originally submitted to hellopeter on 19/05/2016.

I subsequently spoke telephonically to Mr Maropeng Motana, a Cell C Social Media Consultant, on Friday 27/05/2016. He requested that I provide him with bank statements covering September 2014 to December 2014 showing that my account was open and active and that there was sufficient funds available to cover the Cell C debit orders on the 26th of each month. I furnished Mr Motana with the same via email on 30/05/2016. I sent Mr Motana a follow-up email on 15/07/2016 and have to date (more than two months later) still not had the courtesy of feedback from Mr Motana. I have copies of all aforementioned emails.

Meanwhile, Cell C have handed me over to Munnik Basson Dagama Attorneys (email attached), but yet they have not given me a formal response to my initial query which is, WHY DID THEY STOP DEBITING MY ACCOUNT WHEN THERE WAS SUFFICIENT FUNDS AVAILABLE EVERY SINGLE MONTH ? AND I HAVE THE BANK STATEMENTS WHICH I EMAILED TO MR MOTANA TO PROVE IT. I firmly believe that there was a system error on their side and they do not want to investigate and/or admit it.

If I do not hear from a Cell C Supervisor by close of business Friday 12/08/2016 I will be forwarding my complaint to The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa. Perhaps they will take my complaint seriously then.

Regards

Shudley Petersen

T: 076 **********

E: **********
