Sales brochure June/July 2015<br> <br> My Choice of upgrade was the Epic Infinity BlackBerry Leap for R859/ month on a 24 month contract offering 10GB of total extra data. See page 4 of the sales brochure.<br> Unfortunately I was advised that Cell C had made a printing error and could not offer me this deal but said I could have it for R1399 on an open contract. I declined and advised the sales manager ( Northgate SC ) that I would try MTN but was assured that none of the other service providers would be able to better Cell C' s offering not even on a Straight Up 400 ( page 16 of the sales brochure). I took her word for it and signed up for the BlackBerry Leap.<br> THE LIE IS REVEALED.<br> MORE MISREPRESENTATIVE ADVERTISING.<br> Cell C offer as advertised is R589 plus the hidden costs of having this on a Top Up contract which coincidentally is 14% although their pricing is clearly inclusive of vat. So my contract price is now R624.13. Compare this to MTN's offering for the same phone on 350 minutes and with 100 more MB of data and SMS's and their pricing is R499.00 pm. R125 / month MORE!<br> I JUST GOT SHAFTED BY CELL C AND I INTEND TAKING THIS UP WITH THE ADVERTISING COUNCIL
