Cell C service sucks

<p>My fiance had a Cell C sim card which he had not used due to the fact that the device it was used for broke. The other day I then noticed that this cell number was online on Whatsapp but that the person posting was not my fiance as he was driving when his profile pic suddenly changed to that of an unknown man.</p> <p>Cell C never notified us of the fact that they were going to recycle his number. If they had, we could have told our friends and family so they would know.</p> <p> </p> <p>Worst of all was when this person then changed his profile pic to that of my fiance cropping out our daughter on the same pic. How did they even gain access to those pics because those were pics I sent my fiance via Whatsapp.</p> <p> </p> <p>When I called Cell C to report the matter, the call centre agent asked me to hold the line for 30seconds for him to verify something and then never came back to the call. They just left me hanging for a few minutes and since the call was made from my landline, I was paying for it.</p> <p>This type of experience is very very scary as you now do not know who gains access to your information merely by getting your number recycled.</p> <p> </p> <p>I wanted to give them no star as an indication of their service because even one star is WAY too much.</p>
