An Account that was closed in 2020, now 2026 they keep on phoning me for an account that does not exist any more and tell me I owe them R6000. Anybody in the world that can explain this in a logical way to me, you are more then welcome

Our records indicate that the two contracts linked to your account (*** and ***) were activated on 04 May 2022 and were subsequently deactivated in February 2023 and May 2023 due to non-payment. Both accounts have since been classified as bad debt written-off accounts.
We note your concern that you were allegedly advised at a Cell C store that the accounts had been closed and that no account information was available on the system. However, our records reflect that outstanding balances remain associated with these accounts.
During our engagement, we attempted to explain that the outstanding balances would need to be investigated to determine how the amounts were accrued. Unfortunately, the discussion could not be concluded, and it was noted that you stated that you do not intend to make payment towards the outstanding balances.
