CELL C SCANDALOUS WAYS
Good Day,
I write this with the most fury i have ever experienced in my life. Cell c consultants contacted me stating that i need to approve for insurance for the 2xcellphones contracts i have with them. i informed the lady to cancel that immediately as i have never signed/did an application for a cellphone contract. she proceeds that she is only calling for my approval not to cancel contracts.
Cellc continues to call day after day requesting my approval after saying the same ****** thing to different consultants and calling multiple departments.
I have called all the Cell c departments informing them that someone clearly used my details to take up these contracts and that they must cancel it immediately however all the departments said was that they do not cancel contracts. i proceed to call the ***** department for cellc and they advise that i need an affidavit from the Police station as they also cannot cancel it.
so my initial outburst is why the F**** would a company have a ***** line if you cant cancel your contract/block it. Cell c might well leave the rules on their website detailing this instead of calling and being told that you need to go to the Police Station. What is exactly is their purpose??
Most importantly, the law states that no company is allowed to retrieve your ITC without your consent and they ****** well did with me as now i have 2/3 cellphones contracts that i know nothing about.
i did not submit any application forms nor did i sign any documentation to approve the contracts/ send information or reply to any notification to verify/approve this.
I have now received a statement, stating that they will debit my account for these 2 cellphones, when i check the information, its obviously incorrect!! i call the number listed on the statement ***, her name is Ntombi and told a piece of my mind seeing that she is the culprit who did.
To say the least Cell C is ILEGALLY RETRIEVES PEOPLES ITC WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT JUST TO MAKE MONEY!! ALL THE CONSULTANTS I CALLED ARE USELESS!!

What happened to you was very unfortunate.
To have the accounts closed and declared as ***** please email us an affidavit stating that you've never app**** for the contracts as well as a copy of your ID and a bank statement reflecting the debits.

You have sent me a statement stating that you will debit me on the 25th of December, i can send you the statement. i will go to the police station and get the affidavit. however please clarify to me how you were able to open an account without me being physically there to verify the information, let alone give consent to retrieve my ITC. There no turning back once you have retrieved someone ITC. so tell me how will you rectify this??
The only contract i have with Cell c is Fibre/WIFI for the house via metrofibre, so i hope you did not cancel this seeing that all these contracts were sent as one statement. if you check my account you will see that i consent for the fibre as i signed the application form, i GAVE CONSENT.
So again, how will you as a company ensure that this will not happen to someone else, South Africa has enough problems already, the last thing we need is reputable companies doing as they please with people ITC's. So, how you rectify this seeing that my score went down because you scored me for a contract i know nothing about.
