Cell C Saved The Day
Good Day,
I recharged with R100 Cell C Airtime. I normally buy data immediately, but today it just slipped my mind. As the day progressed, I decided to just check my balance - force of habit.
I see that R10 is gone. I leave it, check again after 15 mins - another R10 gone. Mind you, i have free data - 300mb that comes with a R100 recharge.
I then call Cell C Customer Care and I'm connected to one of the agents - Khanyiso (hope the spelling is correct).
He is very nice as we start speaking - I explain the issue, he helps me to understand what is taking my airtime. I'm subscribed to some sort of sms service. I say, oh okay, I get it.
Now I want him to just clarify how I subscribed - he says didn't you hear me? It is called datapro or something - we are a service provider, I cannot tell you what you subscribed for.
I found that very rude - especially the didn't you hear me part - I then asked to be put through to one of his supervisors, he then says they are in a meeting, I should leave my details for them to call me back.
So I said, don't worry, I'll call them. I asked him to just say his name again - he has the audacity to ask me if he should spell it for me? ****y and rude at the same time.
I told him he is very rude and ended the call.
Highlight of the day - called Cell C again, got put through to Nokwazi! What a Gem! Explained my issue, she helped me immediately, sent me an sms to assist me as well. And there you go, Bob's your uncle. Brilliant customer service.
Thank you, Nokwazi and Cell C.
We also apologize for the poor service you received from the first agent you got through to. We will certainly refer this matter to customer service to have this kind of behavior rectified.
Have a great day.
