Cell C robbing Consumers On the 15th May 20121 I got this email (kindly below) that my month to month subscription is ging up. Dear Valued Cell C Fibre Customer CELL C FIBRE MIGRATIONS - VUMATEL Our Fibre Network Operators Vumatel and SA Digital Villages (SADV) announced in April 2020 that they would officially operate as a single entity following the transfer of SADV wholesale Fibre assets to Vumatel. The two companies now operate and trade as a single entity under the Vumatel brand, areas previously covered by SADV are now covered by Vumatel under the marketing name Vumatel Village. As part of their final integration phase, Vumatel has recently announced a realignment of old SADV plans to the current Vumatel Village plans. This means that customers currently on SADV tariff plans will be migrated to Vumatel Village tariff plans, effective 1 June 2021. From R699-R949. I was not happy with this amount so I gave them a call to cancel my service.

I called them on the 22 March 2021 to cancel. But with out success they continued to deduct the monthly fee of R949. I have sent numerous emails as well as calls over the last few months urging them to cancel. I was just ignored. Even a complaint letter on their site is being ignored. A crazy amount went off money went off my private FNB ACCOUNT unauthorised. This I cannot understand.
