Cell C ripping people off

as a cell c costomer i had upgraded my contract with them early July and i recieved my data and airtime however i woke up one morning and there was no airtime nor data left on my handset. i thought that could be an problem on my side since i didnt set the auto updates on my phone at that time. i then changed my setting to only update my phone only when i am conected to wifi and i updated my phone on a daily basis at work via wifi. August the 1st i recieved my data and airtime for the month, it was perfect for 2 days, on wednesday the 3rd i bought a 100MB of data at 22:00 and also had R311 airtime and then i went to sleep. i woke up on the 4th with NO data and only R50.00 airtime left, i tried calling cell c the whole day and i couldnt get through to them as they were having "problems" with their network. i kept trying untill i got through to a lady by the name of Lungi, i explained my problem to her and she just put me on hold until she hung up. i called again and got through to a guy called Siphelele and he was rude on the phone, he then put me on hold until he also hung up. i called again and got to lady cal Octavia who was willing to assist me however couldnt get me the answers or sort out my problem i asked to speak to a supervisor on duty at that time and she put me through to Xolani Marimba, i think thats the name. they told me that my phone was active at night and it used over 300MB of data resulting to my airtime loss after it depleted my data. i then asked how is it possible that when i am asleep, my phone uses more data than when i am awake and actually using it. they could not answer me. i explained that my phone only auto updates when connected to the wifi and it never uses my data to update. i would like a clear explanation and i WANT my airtime plus my data back. i am not going to just be flushing money down the toilet like that.
