Cell C *******

apple iPhone battery overheated and phone switched off after software upgrade. phone booked in for repairs 19 Jan- was notified that phone was 1 month out of warrantee and costs for my account. sim swap to accommodate previous phone took cell c a whole weekend and only after phoning every hour on Monday from my office phone did cell c do changeover. no phone access for whole weekend. followed up on quote after not hearing from cell c for 2 weeks. excuse that iPhone needed to be removed find iphone- no call from cell c to advise this!! Receive a quote on 6 Febr after follow up again for R6081.00. (CLC***) on receipt of quote I reject quote and request phone to be returned. cell c fails to return phone immediately must once again follow up. Try to collect phone on 27 Febr, no job card- forced to do affidavit irrespective that sms + ID shown to wasting 2 hours. due to costs + experience take out new contract with competitor. on advise phone taken to apple repair BIG WAS MY SHOCK WHEN THEY INVOICED ME R500.00 FOR A NEW BATTARY. I incurred all these costs as well as must now have 2 contracts due to Cell C greed and excessive charge of R6000 for a R500.00 job. Shame on you!!!
