Cell C repairs

<p>My brand new Samsung A7 fell and the screen was cracked. It continued working 100% for 2 weeks though. Then is started having trouble with the speakers. Calls had no incoming sound and very bad outgoing sound. No sound when using earphones. Music & voice notes still played perfectly.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I sent it in to have the speakers repaired. Cell C then promptly quoted me over R2000 (a third of the value of a new phone) to have the screen & speakers replaced. I stated that I do not want to replace the screen. But apparently that is not possible. </p> <p> </p> <p>According to the agent, the technicians proved that the speaker issue has to do with the broken screen. But no one can explain why the speaker issue only occured 2 weeks after the screen cracked.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would love to understand the connection between the 2.</p>
