Cell c refusing upgrade due to Debt Review

I have just tried to upgrade a contract with cell c, i have been with them for years and never missed a single payment. I am currently under debt review, and now cell c is just declined my request to upgrade, yet in november 2021 my upgrade was successful ( i was still under debt review) it just that i was sent the wrong phone so i cancelled the update and decided to wait until they have the iphone i want. They upgraded this contract before while I was under debt review( in Nov 2021), so I do not know what the issue is now. I have never missed a payment. When you call the call centre all they can tell me is that I am due for an upgrade but cant take on new credit! how???? A cellphone contract is not part of the debt review contract, im paying for it every month hence im still getting the benefits. this literally feels like a ************** against people that are under debt review. This is no way to treat a loyal customer, who pays on time everytime.

i waited for months for cell c to have stock on iphones, and now that you have im being told i cant have one. i could have cancelled my contract with cell c months ago but i wanted because i was promised an iphone.

im very disappointed
