Cell C refuses to acknowledge cancelation in writing and continues charging customers.

I would encourage all to refrain from having any contracts with Cell C. I canceled a contract with them in writing and telephonically and they refused to cancel a contract until I posted on hellopeter. Once I posted on hellopeter they then immediately phoned and canceled, however they refused to reverse charges for the months charged after cancelation. I encourage all who have had a similar experience to lodge complaints with the consumer ombudsman. Keep your correspondence in writing as proof so you can forward to the ombudsmen and remember the terms and conditions you signed as there is an excerpt out of the terms and conditions that says you can cancel in writing or telephonically. I do caution on telephonic notification of cancelation that you record your calls because Cell C will claim that they don't have proof of calls.
