Cell C refuse to replaced badly damaged cell phone that was damage by technician and not working.

We signed a new contract on the 30th Sept 2020 for a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with Cell C.

On the 8th Oct 2020 we noticed that the phone is over heating and shut down and gave it to Cell C Oakfield, Benon for repairs.

Only on the 15th Oct 2020 did the technician take a look at the cell phone. The cell phone was given back on the 27th Oct 2020. But my wife said that the cell phone looked in a bad state. When putting back in her sim card the phone still overheated and shut down.

The cell phone was send back but due to the state of the phone we asked for a new one or contract canceled. It is now the 20th of November 2020 and we still have no feedback of a new cell phone or contract cancelled.

At this point I am still paying and want to cancel the debit order (payed 2 months already) as I do not want to pay for a cell phone that we did not have for even 7 days and that looks like a dogs breakfast after coming back from repairs.

Staff (doing there best) can also not give us answer, neither can the branch manager (that does not have time for clients) take time to make this a priority.
