Cell C putting lives at risk with no signal during power cuts

Cell C is the only network that plays with the lives of its subscribers. We live in Weltevredenpark, Roodepoort and every time there is a power failure signal loss is immediate - from 4G to no signal. My parents use vodacom and when the power goes off they still have 4G signal and only later changing to 3G. I complained on Facebook only to be told like an idiot that the tower needs power to function. I believe this to be nonsense as all towers should have backup systems in place. I hate to think what would happen in an emergency and I cant reach anyone because I have no signal yet it seems Cell C does not care. I will thus be cancelling all contracts with Cell C and changing back to Vodacom, the reliable network.
