Cell C - Promotions of Non-Existent Stock!

Phone was ****** from me at gunpoint on 21 September 2019. Went into Cell C Rosebank later that day to perform a SIM Swap and perform an upgrade at the same time, and was told that the iPhone 11 would launch that following Friday, and should I be at the store early, I would be guaranteed a device there and then upon upgrade. I went into the same branch that Friday morning as they opened, and signed for an upgrade, but there was no stock of the phone, despite having being heavily promoted and advertised at 1-Day-Only-Prices.

Surely you would ensure that you have enough stock of the device, should you be pushing a promotion? To date, four weeks later, there is still no stock, and I am still sitting without a phone! No one knows where the stock is, when it is coming, or if I am even guaranteed to receive my device anytime soon! Every week I am told "We believe the devices will be here this week", really?

I have been a Cell C customer for 15+ years, and I have NEVER experienced such disgusting service from Cell C. I am considering closing my Cell C account entirely and moving to another network should I not have a device by this Friday. This has gone far past the point of what is acceptable!

I am not upset with your store employees, I am disgusted and angry with the fact that head office holds these poor individuals at ransom, having to answer to angry clients, when they themselves do not even know what's happening, BECAUSE HEAD OFFICE DOESN'T COMMUNICATE TO THEIR STORES!
