Cell C porting number apparently bot working at all
It seems Cell C is not interested in new customers. I wanted to port my MTN pre paid number to Cell c, and followed the instructions on the new Cell C sim card, and Rica the card and then sent the Rica serial numer to the 084 number provided on the packaging but no reply whatsoever, bo confirmation and no porting happened. I did this 4 times. Still nothing as if the number does not work.
It seems I must bow maybe port to Vodacom because Cell c service is really non existent and the porting instructions on the starter pack packaging does not work.

03 Jun 2022, 14:25It it strange because I bought it at PEP. They took my ID and requested me to submit a proof of residence before I could buy the starter pack. And I saw how they registered it.

Today I try to port my MTN sim yet again on the porting sms number. But still, yet, again no reply or even confirmation or nothing back to my sms.
No porting happening. I've been struggling to port my MTN sim to cell C now from the 1st June and can't.
Seems I must try Vodacom.
Disappointed
