CELL C POOR SERVICE FOR SIM SWAP

Been trying to do a Sim swap with cell c Brooklyn and via cellphone but cannot be assisted because I lost the Sim card and it had not been used for over a year but I need the number but not being assisted by the cell c staff instead all I get is attitude from staff at the Brooklyn store and from customer care. Any assistance would be appreciated.
