Cell c poor client service

<p>I had the my giga 20 data contract with cell c where I paid R200 a month for each of my 2 contracts. Then cell c ran a promo where you could get the same package plus a router for R100. I called to inquire if I can't be put on that promotion In order for me to save some money since its exactly the same thing I had. I was told I can do that if I upgrade my 2 contracts. The only catch was, I would have to settle the remaining owed amount for the router that came with one of the data sims. I paid the R600+ and waited for things to reflect on their side. By Monday the money reflected on their system. They said it takes 24hrs for my number to be month free in order for me to be able to take on a new contract. I waited and waited. By Thursday I had called frequently and nothing had progressed on their side. Finally on the following Monday morning I gave them a call again. I was told the promotion had been ended prematurely due to the fact that they had ran out of routers. So that left me with no option but to settle for something else. Something lesser than what I initially had since I was unwilling to continue paying the same amount I was paying previously before I settled the router amount. I was told that the two data sims were now on two new contracts. One R100 and one R20 . I was also told the normal amount I paid previously would be deducted from my bank account as normal. Only after using the new contracts for a month would I start paying for them. Fine, I was given a prorata amount of data for the remaining days of the month I made the upgrades on. Pay day comes and no word from cell c. So I log in a call to find out why they didn't take their money. I'm told the money was deducted from that R600+ I paid for the router and month end they will deduct R790+ from my bank account. Instead of the R100 + R20 + the pro rata data amount that I used on the month I made the upgrade. So now month end, I'll have to pay for a previous contract R450 + pro rata + R120 current contract. I feel this is very unfair. I lost our on a promotion due to their staff pulling the feet. Then I paid R600+ prematurely for nothing. Now I'll have to pay a truck load of money I wasn't informed of. Their sales people **** when I asked about the payments. I was told I would pay for the old contract on the month I made changes on. Then the following month pay for the new one. Now it's my problem. To top things off, I still didn't get the router I was promised for one of my upgrades that did go through. Cell c is an absolute nightmare when upgrading or making changes to your contract. And no one from cell c has ever showed they even care, even if it's their fault you are inconvenienced. I guess there's no meat for me this month since I'm going to make double payments.</p>
