Cell C please remove the ********** account under my credit profile

A ********** account was open under my name at cell c last year july 2020. I had the matter reported and was asked to submit an affidavit together with certified copy of my ID so that investigation can start...did that. The account was stopped and the amount owing stopped accumulating therefore i went to cell c westgate and provide my ID number so they can check if do i still have an active account. The response was no Sir you do not have any account with us and the one that was opened is now closed but thenbi told the lady, the account still appears as active under my credit profile then the reply was after a month or 2 this account will be removed....eish what a nightmare i mean today is 05 September 2021 and the acount still under my credit profile and still blocking me. I cannot buy on credit because of this account ...now do i really have to pay this R1280. I've sent countless emails to *** so they can remove this account from my credit prifile but ni response...my life is a mess because of thus account. Can someone at cell c please help me.
