Cell C:Phone contract price - double as advertised

Problem<br> o On a new contract I pay R262.46 pm x 24 for a LG Spirit cell phone.<br> o Phone is advertised at R120 pm x 24 on web site (with 1G package).<br> o Existing contract is R112.46 pm x 24 for LG Spirit cell phone.<br> o At R262.46 it will total to R6,299.04 at the end of the contract for a phone that is only R2,999.00 in value.<br> <br> <br> Overview<br> o Just as I signed a NEW contract (Sun, 3rd May), I realized the massive increase in the contract monthly payments.<br> o The LG Spirit Phone is R112.46 (28th April) with a previous contract and with this new contract R262.46 (3rd May).<br> o An increase of R150.00 within a week (How is this possible)!!<br> o When I questioned the CellC sales representative about it he said he had NO IDEA how it works, CANNOT EXPLAIN to me why and also CANNOT VOID the contract since it is already signed and in the system.<br> <br> Conclusion<br> o This is ridiculous how I got locked into a contract where I completely overpay against advertised price.<br> o Crazy how the price can differ on a weekly basis.<br> <br> Solution<br> o Expect Cell C to void contract and adjust payments according to price as advertised.<br> <br>
