Cell C penalising customer due to incorrect information provided by Cell C

Process for Contract cancellation was started on the 5th of March. Payment for contract in full (including full month of March) was made on the 7th of March. I had to phone Cell C again to make sure that they allocate this correctly. By 12th of March, I phoned again to ensure that my contract is actually cancelled since the intention is to port my number. I was advised by Consultant A, that if I make my cancellation date the 12th of March I will lose all my minutes and data even though I was just moving over to a prepaid account with Cell C at that point. So, I asked Consultant A if she makes my cancellation date at the end of the month, would that stop me from porting my number to another service and was advised NO! Cancellation was put through with the date being the end of the month, BASED ON INCORRECT INFORMATION supp**** by CONSULTANT A. 24 March and now I’m trying to port, but Cell C is blocking this port. Phone Cell C cancellation department again: Consultant B tells me that even though Consultant A gave me the incorrect information, they cannot move my cancellation date. I request to be contact by Consultant A as well as the transcript of my call with this consultant indicating that she gave me the incorrect information and that I’m now being penalised based on it. Consultant B informs that she sent Consultant A an email and that my issue will be resolved before end of business (6pm) on 24 March 2021. No call was received from anyone on 24 March 2021. March 25 Started calling on the 25th of March at 8:15. Explain the entire story to Consultant C, who advises me that Consultant A will only be in at 09:30 and that she sent her a mail to call me. However, regardless of the incorrect details that was given to me, nothing can be changed. I informed Consultant C that I’m not satisfied with the feedback and she put me on hold to speak to her Superior. I was then informed that as soon as we finish the call, the Superior (Jabulile Giwu) would phone me immediately. Call was ended at 8:42. No call was received and I phoned at 8:49 again. I had to explain my story again to Consultant D, and I just said that I need to speak to her Superior as promised in my previous call. She did not want to listen and I ended the call. I phoned again and told Consultant E that I’m waiting to speak to her Superior. She put me on hold and once she came back, told me that her Superior would phone me back at 10:00. By now it was 09:40. I said to her that I’m not happy with that as previously I was told that Jabulile Giwu would phone me immediately. And I knew that once I hung up, I would wait for a promised call and that I would end up phoning again and going to the whole story again. Consultant E said that I cannot stay on the line and when I asked her a question she just stayed quiet. After a minute she ended the call and the “Rate your Call” voice over came online. I phoned back again and spoke to Consultant F saying I need to speak to her Superior (Jabulile Giwa), she put me on hold for 15 minutes and I ended the call.

Still waiting for said promised call. It is beyond unfair that a customer gets penalised based on incorrect information received.
