Cell C pathetic and mediocre service over a paid up letter

Dealing with Cell C is the absolute pits. The service is appalling and i am disbelief the way patrons are treated both in the walk in centres and the call centre. My experience with has warranted a regret of ever dealing with Cell C.

Short narration, i had a cell contract with Cell C that ended Dec 2021. Upon checking my credit score on clearscore, i saw that the contract is incorrectly reflecting active. I subsequently sent an email to clearscore to correct the mistake as the contract was paid up and ended. They said i must solicit a paid up/settlement letter from Cell.

I then proceeded to make contact with Cell C Call centre. I couldnt believe the mediocre service that was rendered. I spoke to more than 5 consultants who either muted my calls or sent me back to the pool. Bear in mind each time i spoke to a new consultant, i had to recount my query which was profusely frustrating. They sent me from pillar to post. 1 consultant tried to assist and asked if i can send an email to collections dept to ask for a paid up letter and to date nothing has come through. I eventually got the number to the collection dept, no one was able to assist. Weeks passed and still nothing. How hard could it be to send a letter!?( rhetorical). Consultants still sent me from pillar to post. Upon asking to speak to a manager trying to escalate the query, i was put back on the custome care pool. I am yet to speak to a consultant/manager agent that is efficient. I very much doubt there is one

I would never ever recommend anyone to engage in business with Cell C. If they approach you, run for your life. They will frustrate you till you simmer down. I am still not assisted even now. Cell C service is pathetic, in fact, its kinda of a mickey mouse biz. The word disappointed is understatement to describe the treatment i received from Cell C. I have lost faith completely.
