Cell C / Paid Up Letter / No service

I canceled my Cell Contract for a ****le about 3/4 years ago. Trans Union requested me to obtain a Paid Up Letter from Cell C because on Trans Union's system it seems as if I am still having an account with Cell C. The Cell C client service department keep on referring me to their legal department to obtain this paid up letter. I can not be assisted by the Legal Department because I do not owe anything to Cell C!!!! It is a vicious circle - absolutely getting nowhere.
