Cell C Overcharging
<p>I am on a contract where i am supposed to Pay R149.00 I got charged R155.00. and this is not the first time, the original contract was for R129.00 they overcharged me so we came ot an agreement that they wont let me pay for few months to cover what the overcharged me, and the aggreement wa that i will start paying R149.00 i have been payong R149.00 to my surprise today my debit gets to R155.00 and we ddint agree on that amount. Can someone please tell enlight me on whats happening because it looks like Cell C is taking advantage of me now.</p>

28 Feb 2017, 07:57Please note that in terms of your Subscriber Agreement, Cell C has the option of changing any of the Charges from time to time, by means of publishing an amended Tariff Plan and by informing you in writing.
These Charges include applicable connection fee, Subscription Fee, Usage Charges, SIM Card Fee, Goods Fee and any other Charge relating to the provision of Cell C's Services to the customer in terms of the Agreement.
Please note that Cell C made an effort to notify customers of the price changes via SMS, pop up messages on data devices, monthly invoices and on the Cell C website.

28 Feb 2017, 08:02I didnt get the message/sms/whatsapp/email or any form of communication that the prices are going up? Am i not that valuable to cell ce that they dont inform me of price increases or any ammendment on my cantract, they just take as it suits them. I still want an explanation.

28 Feb 2017, 08:13As per our system a notification was sent successfully, two sms's were sent the first one on the 22 December 2016 and the second one on the 23 December 2016 notifying you of the price increases.

28 Feb 2017, 08:18Which number were they sent to? because i only received the early debit sms, i havent received any sms notifying me about the extra charge of R155.01. you can go and listen to the recording the original was R129.00 then cell c started debiting what we didnt agree on then we ended up areeing to R149.00 now it R155.01. This shows how untrusworty you guys are, please give me the munber you sent the sms to.

28 Feb 2017, 10:21I retrived all my sms's and there is nothing, please give me a process of cancelling this contract because that is not the price we agreen on, when i aggreed to take this contract no one told me that there will be a price increase, i cant be taken for a ride like this, you are telling me about price incrase sms's that i nevere received, when you saw that i didnt respond to the sms you never sent to me, why didnt you call me and verify if i did receive that sms? I am being taken for a ride here and this is not the first complain i am sending to cell c, i had problems with you guys fron the first day i had this contract, i took a contract, not problems, and all ive been getting from you guys is one problem after another. :(
