Cell C not looking after paying customers
Why can Cell C take my monies for 4 cell phone contracts but once again when it comes to upgrading they don't want to provide me with the upgrade. Yes I am under debt review BUT the cellphone contacts are not part of it. Every month the contracts are paid. Every other day Cell C sent us deals on data contacts, how can you offer us data contract deals but you can't provide me a upgrade?? We have been with Cell C fir more than 10 years and this is how they treat loyal customers 😠😠

It sad to see how businesses can change their terms but we just need to comply with it. The upgrade should be provided by merit We are goop paying clients how can you take my money month after month and not provide me an upgrade when it is time?
A cellphone contract is considered to be a service agreement - not a credit agreement. As a result, it is generally not part of the debt counselling (or debt review) process (unless the consumer is in arrears with their cellphone contract, in which case the cellphone contract could become part of the process).
So you are willing to take our money every month but I can't upgrade how does it make sens?

But this year we cannot upgrade cell phone contracts because cell c says it is due to being under debt review. Our Cell Contract are not under debt review, we pay our contracts monthly. How can I cancel our contracts, another service provider is will to provide us with new contacts and cellphone. Cell C calls me regularly to tell me we qualify for data contracts how is that possible if we don't qualify to upgrade??

According to the debt review companies if you have placed it (your cellphone account) on your monthly expenses when you app**** for debt review, and you have proven that you can pay the account, then you are allowed to upgrade your contract
