CELL C-NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
I unfortunately have an Oppo A 78 5G, I have not even had this photo for a year and I'm stuck with a 3year contract. I have been to Cell C in N1 City twice because the photo keeps freezing multiple times a day, ads pop up when I'm reading emails, messages, when I'm online and other times, and the alarm does not display correctly. I also told him that the phone does not connect to my PC with the USB cable. This person tells me today that the warranty only covers factory faults and they cannot help me, he suggested I back up the phone to my PC and sent it in for a factory reset and that's the extent of their lack of customer service. Now bearing in mind it does not connect to my PC, so how I'm supposed to back it up there is beyond me. And if I could I can do a factory reset myself. I will never ever upgrade my contracts (I have 3 and unfortunately I just upgraded my data contract) with Cell C because their customer service is none existent. I would give them NO STARS if I could.
While our technicians at the N1 City store may not be available to assist with saving your data, we're here to explore alternative solutions with you. One option is to try transferring your photos and videos to another device using a cloud storage service, such as Google Photos or Dropbox. These services allow you to securely store your files online, ensuring that they're safely backed up and accessible from any device with internet access.
Additionally, you may consider connecting your phone to a computer and manually transferring your photos and videos to the computer's hard drive. If your phone is not connecting to the computer, you could try using a different USB cable or connecting to a different computer to see if that resolves the issue.
If you're still experiencing difficulties or have any questions about these options, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for further assistance. We're here to help ensure that your precious memories are preserved.

I did not open the box because the report attached, noted that the following was the problem:
Cell C Report
a) Phone Freezing
b) That the alarm does pop up.
The reason I sent it in was because;
a) Phone Freezing
b) Ads were popping up when I was reading emails, WhatsApp etc.
c) The Alarm was not displaying correctly
Hence the reason I did not even open the box and I waited for Ms. M.Zumani to call me so I could inform her, she then said they did fix all the issues and I must put the sim cards back in the Oppo. I think it was on the 5th or somewhere around that date and it was then I saw what I thought was a scratch on the rear of the my phone.
Again I waited for Ms. M.Zumani to call me so we can discuss this, then suddenly I was asked why I never took a photo of the Phone before I sent it in, I said I didn't know Cell C are so *************. Plus on the report that they sent to me, it was noted in 3 different sections that there was nothing wrong with my phone. Her next excuse was that I didn't open the box in front of the courier, for starters it was pouring with rain and I have never ever been told to open a parcel in front of any courier company. So why did Cell C not say that (they are making up excuses all the time,Her response to this is that the phone was not damaged when it left the office, they took a photo of the back of the phone where there was no scratch. So while she didn't say it out right, it was me who damaged the phone. I'm a pretty good detective and I found that the phone was more than likely put in the box unscratched, but then it was pushed in maybe with a little more force. If I line up the crack on the phone with the charger, it matches perfectly. In fact the area around the crack has a spongy feeling.
I am tired of Ms. M.Zumani calling me with the same old ****e everyday, Cell C will not accept responsibility. A another case of a big corporation stamping on the little people.
Had I damaged the phone I would not be having daily arguments with Cell C, because unlike some people I tell the truth and take my punishment if I don't but that hasn't in the past 59yrs
