Cell C no battery backups
Every single time that the electricity goes off the fixed lte network goes offline. I have spoken to an agent about 2 month ago who assured me that the backup batteries on the tower will be replaced, I am sure they will be replaced, maybe in the year 2030?? Please get your act together Cell C, there is companies in town 1% the size that Cell C is and they are able to keep their towers up and running whilst the electricity if off. How can a multi million rand company not keep a tower online while the electricity is off??? This os really TERRIBLE service!!!

We have generators assigned to sites where there is high traffic, but it’s not possible to cover all areas affected by load shedding. Additionally load shedding hits without warning and by the time generators are in place more areas have been affected.
Are you still experiencing network issues?
