Cell C new Smart Data Packages Beware!

I recently migrated from Connector Package to a Smart Data Package only to find out that my previous fantastic signal on 3G and LTE had disappeared. After complaining and doing a sim swap we were informed that the new smart data packages do not come with MTN roaming. Due to the lack of Cell C coverage in the areas I drive and work where MTN was excellent I was placed at enormous safety risk as I could not use Google Maps, Whatsapp or have anyone trace me in the event of an emergency. So we migrated back to a Media Play package and were assured that my signal would return to normal which it did NOT. We proceeded to do another sim Swap which did not help at all. After escalating this issue to network engineers and High level data support. This is a two week saga which eventually Cell C sorted out by our sheer determination to problem solve. I am writing this to make other people aware of the dangers of the smart Data packages should your Cell C network not be good.
