CELL C needs to rectify its faults IMMEDIATLY-Aqielah and Mark Buntting

I was deployed for a year in the DRC end 2021-end Nov 2022 so when I got back my Cell C contract was in arrears for approx. 3mnths. On my return I received emails which I didnt receive the whole year prev due to me using a Unite Nations email address and an international cellphone number from the Congo. I then contacted CellC customer care and explained the whole story to them. I had made arrangements with them that I'd pay the arrears over three months. The financial issues of me being away had hit us as I only found out about our other debts in mid Decemebr 2022. Again I called Customer care who then made new payment arrangements.(remember all calls). Due to the beginning of the new school year, school uniforms, University registrations etc I had to see to, again I called Customer care to assist me. I had also went into a situation whereby our standby allowance was taken away suddenly in January which amounts to R3000 extra on my salary. So there I was in trouble with all my debtors incl CellC contract. In the meantime I had informed CellC of the financial changes in my life, yet the 15 Jan (my payday) they attempted all the arrears, which bounced. Then they attempted it the 27, 28, the 30 Jan, and thereafter every month after that on the very same days, knowing that my contract says i get paid the 15th day of every month eventhough a few days before each and every month, they attempted to take the moneys from my account knowing very well I will not have a cent in my account after my payday. In the meantime, I started from January to fall behind with all my debts, going into reverse charges adding up to R 3400 just with CellC'S attempts even when my calls were recorded where I kept on telling them to stop. On 11/12 April this year, I called Customer care again, and got a lovely lady assisting me with my arrears amount including that month's normal installment, and banking details. She had assured me that once those amounts were paid I would get my lines opened up. I paid the full amounts and called CellC the 18th to ask for them to open the lines as I had made immediate payments. Nothing came of it. I had alrdy left for Pretoria the 15th Apr on course on which I currently am on. I went to Centurion Mall CellC branch on the 19th where I showed proof of payment and explained what was said to me. Those ppl called their head office who came back telling me they will not open up my lines because I owe R21000 yet the consultant the prev week said R4200-an sms CellC sent to me on 14 Apr stating that amount of R4200.(not one of my CellC statements showed such an amount-I can even forward all the statements from Nov 2022) I totally went off my head because I was instructed to pay arrears and not the complete contracts. I want my lines *** & ***-even our banks been sending sms's to these two numbers but we cannot access them because of CellC) reopened asap. Both my wife and I have been using those two numbers since 2002, way before CellC ever existed. THEY convinced myself and my wife to convert our two prepaid lines to their contracts. Now this. So please HelloPeter, assist us with this contract issue so that we can get our lines back. CellC can have their simcards back, I dont care. I also want all my reverse bank charges reimbursed to me as it was THEIR fault for not doing as the client instructed and go and do their own thing. CellC, this is unacceptable and I want the whole country to know about your performance when it gets to loyal customers of more than 10 years. Hope to get feedback as soon as it is possible.
