cell c misleads public
<p>I renewed 2 contracts at cell c for the value of R399 each. The billing amount for contract value differs from the contract amount that I upgraded to. Cell c deducted end January and on February statement I was billed again for January. Why pay twice for January? I was charged for data but received 20g promotional data. I sent an email on 21/2/2017 requesting feedback, no call received from cell c. </p>
When you upgraded your contract we did not debit for the new package but for the old package. The new package only kicked in on the 31 January 2017. Your February statement consists of a pro rate amount for January 2017 and a full subscription of the new package for February 2017.
We did not charge you for the promotional data and in January you were still paying for the old package.
