Cell C misleading data deals - online purchase

I purchased 2 data deals online from Cell C. I have have however since been charged more than what what I signed up for.

I have been trying to resolve this with Cell C for weeks now.

I have been told that these are "open contracts" and that it would allow the usage to go over up to the "usage limit" selected. This additional data is then charged at "out of bundle" rates.

I seems that most people would be fami**** with the concepts of these "open contracts" and "usage limits" but this is new to me and it was never explained to me. Neither can I remember ever being afforded the opportunaty to select the value of this "usage limit".

From what I can see, these out of bundel usage limits are how they manage to lure unsuspecting victims like myself to buy their "hot deals" which end up more expensive than any other.

I now did the calculation and see that by conning people in this way, the cost per Meg on this Cell C "special" ends up 55% more than what I would have paid at Afrihost :(

A great Thank-you to Moses Mo***eng who just phoned me.

Dispite all the "Side-issues" discussed with their customer-service staff in previous attempts, he understands the real issue and will refer for the situation to be corrected before the next debit-order is due.

Well, after all was said and done... Cell C did make an attemp to correct the situation but the only corrected the issue on one of my lines/numbers.

They still seem to miss the fact that they did the exact same thing on two different accounts.
