Cell c misinformation from store and struggeling to reverse upgrade

I upgraded my account on the 5th of December 2020. With my upgrade i received a Huawei P40 lite. The person at Somerset Mall Cell C told my that even without playstore i can still use my google maps which i use for my work. That evening upon setting up my phone i realized that i can download it but not log in with my google account. I then returned the phone the next day to the store and said that i do not want that specific phone. The person in store then denied having told my that i can use it on the p40. They sent te phone back and told me that i can only get a phone that is worth my phones price minus the tax. Which is ridiculous. I waited for 2 months of them sending the phone back and forth between the shop and the repairs. Then i decided to reverse my upgrade which i was told in store that i can only do it over the phone which i did and then got a message weeks later that i must go back to the store to continue. Back at the store i was again told that i need to phone in to do the reversal. 4 months later i still do not have answer and no new phone yet. Pleasr advise and resolve before tomorrow 26 March 2021 because 27 March 2021 I wil be canceling my contract if not resolved.
