Cell C Mecer Guru Pro complaint

Honestly I do not think I’d recommend the never guru laptop to any customer that’s planning on taking the contract with cell c.

My mother took a laptop on my behalf because I was starting school when the first laptop arrived it was an obf because it wasn’t working. We had to wait for two weeks before the laptop could get to my mother and that alone was an inconvenience because my mother and I live far part. She’s in Gauteng and I’m in Bloemfontein Free State. The hassle we went through with cell c was emotionally draining because I was also starting with a degree that will need all my attention. The laptop arrived then two weeks later the screen is not responding neither is the keyboard and there is no damage to it whatsoever. The worst part is that I have a presentation tomorrow and a test on Tuesday that requires me to have a laptop.

I genuinely think cell c should not bind people with the commitment fee issue because some things are beyond our control and cancelling a contract is the only option. This laptop is not even a month old and right now I’m very annoyed because my school work is going to suffer. I have so many deadlines and this is honestly not right for my mother to be stressing like this for something she’s paying.

Tomorrow when I call the customer service line I know we will not be assisted properly.
