Cell c making me pay way too much.

I took a contract with cell c in the third quarter of the year 2016. The screen cracked in December 2016 and the phone continued to work. But come Feb 2017 the sdcreen just died and went blank. I took it to Cellc and they had it for a two weeks before they told me that fixing it would require me to pay R8000. I found that to be ridiculous as still have more than 15 months of the contract. So ineed to pay R8000 plus the monthly fee of R900 i for my contracts. Is this really the way we are to be treated as customers. I dont need them to fix the crack, I just need the screen to function.

The repairs department, assessed your handset and quoted based on the findings. You might think that its only the screen that is affected where as there might be internal damage on the handset as well.

We will get one of our consultants to contact you and assist further.
