Cell C *******ly pushing subscription notifications to customers even-though opted out
Is it even legal to push notifications to a customer’s phone even when they clearly indicated that they are not interested in ANY communication, subscriptions or adverts from the service provider! I have even opted out of ALL communication using the short code AND STILL I am getting nonsens pushed to my phone. One can easily select the opt in on these subscriptions and then having to pay R5pd! TAKE ME OFF all communications from you or I will move to another service provider. This is the second time I am complaining about Cell C. They are just never failing to disappoint!

14 Nov 2023, 17:15The push notifications are not related to any app subscriptions and looks exactly like the notifications from Cell C related to ALL MY REWARDS notifications etc. I have used the code *147*358# to opt out and even the short code where the prompts ask if you would like to opt out of ALL communication. And still you ignored the request. Please refer to POPIA.

I have had enough of this company and the lack you have shown to deal with customer complaints. I will be canceling my membership with you. Luckily I am on pay as you go and I would love paying you to GO! Will be taking my number with!
