Cell C Leads on Terrible & Horrible service ever

Terrible service, horrible frontline staff. Useless call centre agents and technicians. On my prepaid, I been trying to change from one lousy tariff Supercharge to 66c. Guess what, have failed more than 10 times even after I logged a case since Sunday the 17th Feb, and it has been more than 72 hrs but still Cell C DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE on how to help me change their OWN tariff they designed. My sin was choosing a 240 mins, 30 days bundle. Although the mins are gone but because the bundle is still valid and I must wait until 16 March until I can change to another tariff. This is the worst thing I have ever experienced. This effectively means I shouldn't be topping up my phone during this time because the bundle window will keep adding up. I'm sick of this network, so sick! How can all these people be so *********** beats me. I will be porting my number first thing, and so be it. Ref: ********** 576.

If Cell C will still be in business beyond 2019, and it will be an injustice if it does. I had two contracts that I decided not to renew in 2018 Oct because of a relentless abuse from cell c hooligans masquerading as call centre staff. Cell C knows how to sell stuff, but when the same runs into a problem, a customer can even go to Mars and come back safely before Cell C is able to resolve the issue. Even the simplest of functions like buying a bundle, sharing airtime are difficult to get done. When you think you are done, boom an error message 'connection problem or invalid mmi code' blsh..t !! I have wasted countless hours trying to make even a simple transaction like the above. Just using their *147# is emotionally draining & psychologically abusive.

1. The 240 minutes were used up within days before 30 days were over, and it is unfair to restrict changing a tariff plan in this case. It effectively means one shouldn't do a recharge until the expiry window has been reached. If the minutes are done before their date of expiry (or whichever comes first), the expiry date should become invalid. There's no logic in keeping an expiry window open when there's a zero balance on minutes. 2. Please ensure your frontline agents interfacing with customers are competent. Most if not all appear incapable, inexperienced or just naïve, and unprofessional. This has been an experience since Oct 2018. Please refer to call recordings. 3. The worst part is that on numerous occasions I had to be asked 7-10 questions at least by 3 different agents over a single call. Why ask so many questions just to transfer a call but at the end of the day one doesn't get assisted? Such a procedure doesn't have a place on this day & age.
