Cell C kicks out paying client.

Cell C changed their login procedure and require me to update my password. Unfortunately the sim card is in my modem and does not receive SMS for the required OTP for the change. It is also the incorrect size for my iphone, which I am not using in any case as a hot spot for this process an cannot remove the sim. The call centre person Eswe apologized and said there is nothing they can do and that I am locked out and they are sorry to see me go. SO basically Cell C made a change to their system and locked me out and have made it impossible to continue with them. Time for a change.

No-one contacted me, I have subsequently moved to Openserve fibre who offer a fantastic pay as you go service which is exactly what I was looking for. Now I am considering switching my other main line fibre from Cell C to Telkom. There are far better options these days than Cell C. They have gone from Hero to Zero in a few short years. Goodbye.
