Cell C Issued Paid-Up Letter With Incorrect Future Date – Reputational & Compliance Concern

I am lodging a formal complaint regarding a paid-up letter issued to me by Cell C that reflects a future date.

I requested a paid-up letter as proof that my account is fully settled. However, the document provided by Cell C contains a date that is set in the future. This creates a serious issue, as it gives the impression that the document may have been altered or forged, which could negatively affect my credibility when submitting it to third parties (e.g., financial institutions or service providers).

As a customer, I expect official documentation to be accurate, properly dated, and compliant with standard record-keeping practices. Issuing a letter with a future date reflects poor internal controls and administrative negligence. More importantly, it exposes me to unnecessary reputational risk.

I request the following:

1. Immediate re-issuance of a correctly dated paid-up letter. 2. Written confirmation explaining how this error occurred. 3. Assurance that proper quality control measures are in place to prevent similar errors in the future. 4. Copy of my device contract (huawei p50 Pocket)

This matter is urgent, as I cannot use the current letter without risking it being questioned or rejected.
