Cell c is the worst ever.

Someone please help me. I took out a cell c contract years back for 24 months. The contract has ended and they stopped debiting my account as I called to do the cancellation process fine. Fast forward now check my bureau details cell c is still active. I called to find out why and I was told I did not say I dont want cancel. I asked the agent how do as their process says in order to cancel the contract you have to call a month before and cancel of which I did. I have months now asking for a paid up letter so I can update my bureau details and everytime I am told within 24 hours. How many 24 hours am I supposed to wait I am thinking of taking legal steps as this is messing with my credit record.
