Cell C is so quick at handing over accounts than providing good customer service

They deserve a Zero Rating. Cell C is just bad. They are good at chasing money by handing over clients rather than providing good customer service. I have been a customer of Cell C since 2018 and at almost 4 contracts with them and I just make sure I never renew a contract with them because they are bad. So I was canceling a contract in 2022 for data and they tried hard to convince me to renew and make it just a sim card that would give me data bundles, I accepted. I have been paying well until December 2023 when they started deducting more from R157.54 to R162.49. I let it slide, I called them in January to cancel the contract as it has been two years already, and Then they deducted R198.59 end of January. I was puzzled but assumed that maybe it is cancellation fees. End of February, Cell C deducted R349.00 from my account of which I did not understand. I reversed their debit order and they called me in March. I spoke to one consultant and informed her that I did reverse their debit order due to them not being consistent and without communication. She did explain that the R349 Debit order was for the cancellation fee and the December Debit order increase was because of the Annual Increase but she could not explain why I was debited R198 in January. I asked that they refund the extra amount they debited in January and top it up to the cancellation fee so it decreases, then the outstanding amount is what I will pay. We both agreed and she said she would send me an email with the amount I should pay, I did give them my email address. I never received the email or any communication after that until today when I received a call and a text from MBD that my account has been handed over. This is very disturbing and unprofessional. I definitely do not recommend Cell C.
