Cell C is robbing me
Cell C ignored the expiry date of our contract. They continued to bill me beyond the expiry date and despite numerous requests to cancel the contract which in any case expired... They continued to bill me. When I questioned them on the practice I was told that they are continuing to bill me because they loading airtime every month.... I told them that I don't want their airtime and have not been using, hence they take it back every 3 months. Despite that I was billed again this month and decided to reverse the debit order. They called me and threatened me with a lawsuit.... This is ********....********

04 Apr 2023, 15:12Hi Namolela
In line with the terms and conditions of the subscriber agreement, you are required to provide a calendar month notice in order to have your contract cancelled on its maturity date.
If this agreement is not cancelled during the contract period or on expiry of the contract period and is not renewed, then this agreement will run for the contract period and then on a month-to-month basis until the agreement is cancelled.

04 Apr 2023, 22:27A number of times when I go to the shops they say I must phone when I phone they say I must go to the shops... I then decided to reverse the debit orders... Then I got a call and eventually spoke to someone who asked me a lot of questions and eventually confirmed that the contract is cancelled. Come another month the debit order again... I did the same and rep**** to the subsequent email..... The debit went off again I returned it and 2 hours later I got a call and spoke to someone who didn't make sense more than all of those I spoke to before... That is when I was threatened with lawsuit....You are keeping me in a contract that expired and which you later forced me to cancel.... I cancelled but you keep on billing me and when I return your debit order that I never authorised you threaten me with lawsuit.

05 Apr 2023, 07:58As per the system, the number ending with 144 has been cancelled and you have a last bill to settle as the contract was cancelled on the 28/02/2023
