Cell C is officially the worst service provider. Do not use them
I regret the day I accepted a contract from Cell C. Do take a contract with them. During lockdown o decided to settle all of my contracts, I had one with cell c and one with mtn, cancelling my mtn contract was easy however extremely difficult with cell c. In March I spoke to Brain in cancelation and we reached and agreement that in order to cancel my contract I had to pay R 249 for my pocket router and an amount of R 419 for the amount in arears. I paid this amount and was informed that my contract will be suspended on the 31st of May. However in August a debit order attempt of R 204 was made on my account when I queried this I was taken from pillar to post and I decided to pay the R 204 as it was negatively effecting my credit record, I got confirmation via a call that my number has been moved to prepaid however further debit order attempts have been made. After being informed that I only had to pay R204 how is it possible that debit orders are still continuing. I have recieved no assistance from their call centre's.
Thank you for making contact with Cell C regarding your contract.
The matter has been escalated and our team will be in touch to assist.

THABISILE NGCOBO, who keeps on changing stories everytime with regards to my billing, firstly she says my contract was cancelled in May and I got billed for June, how can I get billed in June when my contract end in May, she then calls the next day and says that I was not billed for May, which is incorrect as my as at the end of June there was a balance of 419 and later in August a consultant informed me that I had 204 which was paid immediately so its impossible that they didn't invoice me for May when their statement and consultant says otherwise. She hanged up as I was proving my points and she had no leg to stand on, she comes back today with a different story saying a payment was made in Feb and reversed out, how is that possible that all these months after sending several statements they didn't reflect that and then all of a sudden when I want to cancel they come up with stories. They are trying are trying to squeeze every cent they can from me without any justification, they came up with three different stories which they are unable to back up and now they want access to my banks statements for Feb, then she sends a message stating that I can exclude Feb statement and should sends the past two months statement. It's clear to me they do not know why they are billing despite my contract being closed
