Cell C is not to be trusted.

We got a verbal contract for wi fi on September 2018 from Cell C. When we enquired about a written contract , we were told that the contract is a month by month contract and essentially pre paid. We had Cell C as a service provider from September2018 to 31 August 2021. We were initially very happy with their service. In 2021 they increased their monthly fees and could not accommodate with a cheaper option as those were reserved for new contracts. I the told the call center guy I'll be forced to go to a more affordable service provider, which I did. I send an e mail on the 3rd of September 2021 to cancel the services. Which they never did. In December 2021 after several mails and phone calls, I once again tried to reach the (cancellations dept) I was cut off every single time. In January 2022 I received a zero balance. Since February 2022 I've been harassed by different debt collectors and no matter what I send as proof, my so called debt escalates all the time. I have reach the the point where I'm waiting for Cell C to take me to court so that I can sort it out once and for all. I doubt they will do that though, because they are dishonest and they KNOW it. I wouldn't advice anyone to deal with Cell C.
